Undoubtedly, Paulo, Jan and Chariz is the winning comic trio that had even made Mr. Joey De Leon as one of their admirers.

Nakakatuwang isipin na the three may not have much television shows, mas marami pa rin silang racket (tvc, print ads) than their contemporaries. Si Paulo, staple sa mga tvcs (Red Ribbon, Lewis and Pearl, Funky, etc.) and in print (Coke); Jan had a tvc with Pau (Funky) and Chariz, arguably, the most successful Struckattack alumni, is a staple on comedy movies, ang pinakalatest e yung "My Monster Mom". Pero all three enjoy several GMA show guestings. Not bad para sa mga avengers di ba?

Pau has these pics, lately nahihilig sa photography idol natin e. He has several photos which he shot himself pero ang nandito e yung kasama sya sa subject.

Last February 10, 2008, Paulo decided to up his wall climbing skills by going rock climbing at Montalban. It was dubbed "Love On The Rocks". Here are some of his shots.

Clean Fun: Wall Climbing

Paulo's passion right now is wall climbing.

Grabe. Matagal na naming plan na puntahan si Pau sa pag-climb nya. Si Tivz ang unang nagtext sa akin that we will meet Pau somewhere in Pasig para samahan sya sa climbing (tama ba? Pasig ba yun? hehehe). Regular si Pau dito, usually weekly sya dito for the past two months na. Well, anyway, nagmeet kami ni Tivz ng around 5:30 PM (late kasi ako. twaffic!) and nauna pa kami kay Pau. Pau arrived at past 7:00 PM, based sa ESP ni Tivz.

He looked better now. Lumalaki upper body nya, and he's got a clean face. Maaliwalas. He stays there at until 10 PM, which is closing time na.

Basic. Nice guy talaga si Pau. He talks to us during breaks and invites us to try, unfotunately, wala kaming extra clothes kaya we begged off. Pero we will be back.

Actually, I had a chance to chat with Pau one-on-one and nabanggit ko na I climbed for a while na but I had some present injuries kaya I had to stop. Sports buff si Pau kaya it would be great if we'd get into his type of spprts na rin. Di ba Tivz? heheheh

How did Pau fare in his climbing? Well, mukhang gamay na nya. Bear in mind na this is a 40 feet high difficulty climb. Graduate na sya as a beginner kaya he's doing the more difficult slopes. It all looks so easy pero, believe me, mahirap yan!

Anyway, I didn't ask for pics kasi awkward naman na magpa-photo op sa place no! But I had some vids. So, enjoy.

October 13, 2007. Another taping day for Boys Next Door.

Syempre, mawawala ba naman kami ni Al? We got in at around 3 PM. Although naaasar sa akin si pirena, kasi I was late and may moment sya with a Mover when I came in sa meeting point namin. hehehehe.

Side story 1: Galing akong Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija that day. I drove roughly around three hours to get back sa Manila, took a quick shower then drove back to Quezon City for the taping. Ganyan ko kamahal si Pau!

Anyway, balik tayo sa taping. It was good that we made it at that time kasi last shoot na ni Pau for the day and if we came in a lot later e wala na si Pau! I swear, magwawala ako on the spot. Amok.

Still, Pau was so nice to take time and have a quick chat with us. Syempre, mawawala ba ang photo moment namin? hehehehe.

Side Story 2: You want a scoop? If you're still wondering kung wala pang manager si Pau. Wait na lang kayo. Hold you're breath dahil malapit na. I just hope it all pushes through. Clue? A basta! Wait na lang kayo.

Pau was off to his Makati address after the taping tapos tutuloy sya sa Wall Climbing nya sa Tiendesitas (sana tama spelling). Di kasi sya satisfied hangga't hindi masakit katawan nya e. And in fairness, nang malaman ni Pau na galing pa akong Cabanatuan, napa-yikes sya and he said thanks. Bait talaga ni Paupau!

Side Story 3: Karl came it at around 4 or 4:30 while Al and I were buying food, kasi hiningi ni Mot yung Piattos ko e. hehehehe. Pero okay lang yun no! Nahihiya nga si Mot e (Al, Mot na rin tawag ko kay Mart ha!). And the entry title was a product of his dialogue to me that day. We were browsing sa mga pics ko that day and ang sinasabi nya, wala kaming rapport sa pics, sa isa lang meron. Sa tingin nyo sino yun? hehehehe. Judge for yourself.

The day ended for us at around 8PM. Sobrang pagod ako and I kept complaining that my leg hurts. Mas matagal pa kasi akong naglalalakbay kesa nagstay sa bahay. So, we went home. Pero I went home happy. Coz kahit papaaano, I feel na may konting bonding na kami ni Pau. Proof? Syempre sa amin sya ni Al nagpaalam ng maayos. And pinagbuksan nya kami ng window pauwi, while he just waved to the other BND fans with the car windows close (may service ang ibang starstruck talents). Small thing. But for me, that made us feel, well, special.

Other Scenes at Boys Next Door

Of course, other than Paulo, there were also a lot of things happening at the taping.

Marky and Rich are, unfortunately, both suffering from sore eyes. Mart and Jennica are, syempre, inseparable. We had a chance to chat wit Mart's dad, whom I promised that I will also support Mart. And Stef's mom, who was practicing her eloquence with us. She's a fun bundle though. And Glaiza's parents who are very nice.

Plus. May mga scoops pa kaming nakuha. Do you know that Marian has 9 commercials lined up? At malulula kayo sa lowest TF nya. WHEW! We already had an inside scoop on who will be eliminated later sa Ride To Fame? Secret syempre. That Paulo will be part of the whole season 2 ng BND at may ilang mga (nakakinis) plots na pinagaaralan for the show. That Paulo has a new tvc coming?

Bloopers

Hahahaha. It was fun staying at the BND taping pero mawawala ba mga bloopers namin?

1. Pinaalis ako sa set kasi lakas boses ko. hehehehe.
2. I was almost lost looking for a convenient store. Salamat sa mga tricycle drivers.
3. Laging naiiiwan ni Tivz unlocked yung passenger side ng car.
4. Naiwan ko yung car keys ko sa Coffee Beanery
5. Nawala ko stylus ko momentarily.
6. Mali yung binigay ng barista kay Tivz na mga Coffee.
7. May alcohol content yung Coffee ni Pau. Bawal pa sa kanya ang any amount of alcohol because of his medication.
8. Ang daming ants sa uupuan namin ni Tivz.
9. Three times ako nag-move ng parking dahil ang daming bawal sa place of taping ng BND.
10. Bonus. kakalaro ni Pau sa hawak nyang lip gloss, twice itong gumulong sa ilalim ng kotse.

Close Encounters Part II.
Again, nagkita kami ulit ni Pau. This time, longer time and we had more chances to talk than before.

Pre-meeting. Nagkita kami ni Tivz (because he knows where the taping would be and I am a total dufus when it comes to navigation) sa Chowking sa Quezon Ave. and it wasn't long that we are already on our way to the Boys Next Door taping (magkaiba ang shooting sa taping, okay ngayon ko lang naintindihan, whew!). Taping was at BF Homes in Quezon City and I am verrrry excited to see Pau again.

Meeting Pau again. Sa site, first that we met were Mart and Jennica (di mapaghiwalay e), nadaanan namin si Aljur before we saw Pau rehearsing his lines with Jesi. I'm so happy na natatandaan pa ako ni Pau, sabi nya kasi, hirap syang makatanda ng mga names. Para safe, it's either "kuya" or "ate", nakakatuwa na kahit second time pa lang namin magkita, first name basis na. Yun yon e!

Pero since taping yun, busy lahat ng artist kaya kami ni Al muna nagkwekwentuhan. It wasn't long when hinatak nila Mot si Al and I was left alone kasi may kausap ako sa phone. Nagstart na ang taping at pinaalis ako sa set (ingay ko kasi, may pinapagalitan ako sa phone e, heheheh) so I had to walk back to my ride. Kakakalikot ko sa kotse, nakita ko si Pau, they were watching sa car nila Mot ng Startalk, but since naka-park ako sa opposite side, di nya ako agad nakita. And because I was so caught up with Pau (I swear mas gwapo sya ngayon) di ko na nagawang lumapit. Good think, nakita nya akong tulala so he crossed the street para magkakwentuhan kami. Tip sa mga Paunatix: Paulo is a very nice and accommodating man, if you ever have a chance na madalaw sya, do so. Di kayo magsisisi.

I had so much fun talking to Pau, kung saan saan na nga napunta kwentuhan namin, hanggang sa prescription ng gamot na! He's so smart and he takes time to get to know his fans more. Then pinatawag na sya sa set.

One more thing that's nice about Pau. He will take time to be with his fans. Since nagmamaganda kami ni Tivz, di kami nanonood ng taping. Sa mga tents kami tumatambay and in between takes, Pau made sure na magkakasama kami. That's how thoughtful Paulo is. Kaya di ko siya iiwan whatever happens.

Pau and I had a lot of talks, a lot of moments na magkasama. Marami kaming napagkwentuhan. And some I would like to remain na sa amin na lang muna. I think I want to cherish those moments muna.

Share ko sometime na lang.

A tired Pau. Late na kasi natapos mga shots nya. But still accommodating.

Syempre, we left the set with a huge smile on our faces. And since nagpaalam si Pau na magpapahinga sya we do so obliged. Kawawa naman kasi sila, they seem very tired na talaga. But still Pau sms-ed me pa naman. He said take care. And that was more than enough for me.

Thanks Tivz. Yes, those kids are very nice. Mabait si Mot. Magalang si Jennica. And Paulo is heaven.

I don't hate Rainier, he's a nice guy. But please, I still believe that Jewel is better paired with Paulo Avelino. Last Sunday's SOP made me feel bad. Not only is Paulo not there, but because Jewel is paired with Rainier.

La Liga Tiborxia

It won't be denied.

The Tiborxia Triad has been most helpful for Paulo Avelino fans, and that I completely recognize. I, for one, will never be able to get close to my beloved Pau if not for the trio.

Trooper: Soft spoken but really hilarious. He provides the balance among the three. When the two are at their peak of being jiggly, he gets in with a soft-mannered approach, speaking in a tempo and audio level of utter finesse. But his comments are always precious. If he was an actress, he'd go the Jaclyn Jose route. Underacting effectively.

Karl: I only got the chance to meet Karl once and he's a small bundle of joy. He walks really fast and I had a pretty hard time keeping up with his pace. But really, he's a nice guy, making sure that we get to where we should be. Waiting up until we are all complete (when I say "we", that's with the other Paulonatics). Well, without him, I would have waited outside of the GMA compound all day.

Tiborxia: a.k.a. Teeborxia a.k.a. Tivz. The Queen Bee. The Mother Maiden of the Team. The Crowned Leader of the League. If you want to get close to a star, you have to get close to Tivz. I'm more than happy that we have become friends (because we both love Paulo, but I LOVE PAULO MOOOORE! Hehehehe, seriously, we both love Paulo), even if his affinity with Mart is strong(er) and more pronounced. I'm happy that he also gives his all-out support to Pau. Without Tivz, there is no Kutz. Without Tivz, Kutz and Paulo will never meet.

AT LONG LAST!! (Meeting Paulo)

So, how was meeting Pau? You might ask.

Going back, at the rehearsals, I patiently waited for their break. I was standing with Tivz the whole time and am trying to contain my excitement.

And then, it was time... Paulo came out and after Tivz told him that it is I, Kutz, meeting him. He said... "Finally, we meet." Awwwwwww. My heart melted. My day was made.

There was a clincher though, 30 seconds after talking to Tivz earlier, I was called to attend a lunch meeting.

So, I only spoke to Pau for about a few minutes, had a few pictures taken and I was off to the meeting.

But, you know? That short time was more than enough to fill my heart with joy. I'm not overacting. Or trying to blow this out of proportion. You must understand, I am a verrrry huge fan. And a few moments with Pau will last me a lifetime.

All I know. I am extremely happy. And inspired. And hopeful that I get to be with Paulo again.

AT LONG LAST!!!

I have started this blog at around May, but way before that, I have long expressed my opinion on my support to Pau. "All the way" may be apt, but that is just not enough as a description.

For the longest time, I have wished to talk to Pau personally, steal a peck on the cheek and simple just let him know that I exist. That my perennial support for him is not imaginary in nature. I'm a true-blood, real supporter. No qualms. No restrictions. No limits. No reconsiderations. No conditions.

Today, part of my long-time dream, has come true. I HAVE FINALLY MET PAU!

First, a little overview:
I have been (terribly/incredibly) busy the past weeks since transferring offices (and position, hehehe) and I have unfortunately neglected one of the surviving sources of my happiness: being a paulo-natic. My last post was June and now it's August. It's more than a month since I have expressed my adulation for my (our) demi-god/prince charming/angel/knight. And it made me feel incomplete, although I have only realized that some days ago. I have immersed myself too much on my work (and my boyfriend, whom by the way I have had broken up with already, but that's a different story), that I have forgotten about Pau. And now, with a little time management, I can now juggle my schedule and my Paulo-addiction (please, this is a good type of addiction). So, last week, I was able to peek at Paulo's forum at igma (I think it was a Thursday), and it was then that I found out that Paulo will be appearing at SOP the following Sunday (August 5, 2007). And after asking Paulo about it, I have confirmed it. He is, indeed appearing on the said date! Lo and behold, I had to access all the people I know to find a way to get into the show! I sms-ed Ricola for Manny's number and sought his assistance, which he obliged, and being the semi-paranoid self that I am, I also sms-ed Tivz, and he then, gave me Karl's number who also expressed willingness to help me. I was so excited, I even told Pau about this and he also said that he's willing to meet me on that date.

Two nights of restlessness ensued before Sunday.

Sunday: August 5, 2007:
D-day
You can not imagine how hyper I was on this day. I got up early (for a Sunday) and prepared for SOP. I was off to the studio by 8:00 AM to meet with Karl by 9:00 AM. By 8:20 I was at 711 at Timog to wait for further instructions. So, I left my car to walk at the visitor's gate by 9:00 AM. By past 10:00 AM, I was so restless that I called Karl several times because I was feeling tense with what was going to happen. Thoughts ran through my mind. Will I be able to get in? What if Karl forgot? What if Paulo snobs me? I was finally appeased when I finally met Karl, who was such an angel, and accompanied us (we were with happyjam, denmark and... I'm sorry I can't rattle off your names, I'm slow at this and I easily forget names) to the studio. The place was jampacked! And I started to feel uneasy. How on earth will I get to see Pau with all this ruckus?! Then came Tivz. I started sms-ing him at 9 or 10:00 AM and asked him if he could help me with Pau, and promised to do so. One message from Tivz made my heart leap: at 10:37 AM: "Hnanap k ni pau". I was already inside the studio so I panicked, I started calling Tivz. So he told me to stay put and he will come to me. I was shaking. And then I saw Tivz, he told me to come with him. We went into the GMA building, up to where the rehearsals are being done and there he was... Paulo Avelino. In the flesh.

Magic Kamison Synopsis: Episode 4

Juggling between Mina and Luming inside the Blanco Residence proved to be a struggle for the poor girl as she had to leave Charlie every now and then to cover up for the non-showing of Luming at the party.

Luming's decision left Poy alone in waiting at the Ukay-Ukay. He was obviously stood up while Chuchay told him that Luming will never be able to reach their meeting place, without giving out the reason why, leaving the poor boy disheartened (sob!).

Meanwhile, the lost belongings of the Blanco patriarch was found and proven to be kept by Maja's daughters driving them to be furious at the hapless Luming.

What will these wicked women do to get back at Luming? Will she realize how much Poy feels for her? Or will she fall further for Charlie? And Charlie seems to have a deep, dark secret of his own? How will that affect her seemingly blooming relationship with Mina? Find out on the fifth installment of Magic Kamison on June 10, 2007.

Still, although statistically tied, Magic Kamison posted a higher rating than it's competition. This, considering that the other show piloted it's new story arc. Well, Chuchay and the Paulo-Jewel tandem are a team to beat.

Place amidst some urban background, he certainly proved that he is the most photogenic among the latest batch, nay, among all the batches of Starstruck. Maja's plan to poison Don Vino has failed miserably, owing to the fact that the aged patriarch fancies Luming's cooking instead of hers. This drove the scheming Maja to get madder at the poor cook.

On a happier note, with Luming's new found look, she had easily made Charlie fall for her. On their following chance meeting, she told the young lad that he can meet her through Chuchay. And true enough, with Charlie's persistance, he had met the new and improved-looking, Luming, now named Mina. This started their constant meetings.

Much to the dismay of the poor Poy, who seems to have never got the chance to see Luming again, since her transformation, save for the time that Luming, who was then wearing the Magic Kamison called him and it was so unfortunate that Poy does not know her. Luming then realizes her mistake and fled instead. A friend then told Poy, who was with him at that time, that he never thought he knew someone as beautiful. Poy then replied that he does not prefer mestizas, and says "Black is beautiful" (Hint of things to come? I certainly hope for it).

Charlie now has invited the beauteous Luming to his party at the Blanco residence. Luming is now faced with a dilemma. If she goes to the party as Mina, how will she cook for Charlie, but if she remains as Luming, this could ruin her chances of getting more intimate with Charlie. Another problem is that Poy seems to want to pursue his feelings for Luming, but how now that beautiful Mina seems to show more interest to Charlie?

The next episode airs on June 3, 2007 at GMA after SOP.

I'm borrowing a line from Lucy Torres-Gomez's QTV show "The Sweet Life". Paulo was part of the guests of several new artists whom they think could make it big in the industries they are connected with. This was notwithstanding the fact that Paulo was not a winner on Starstruck. It was evident that HE IS star material. That he has great chances of succeeding in showbusiness. Proof? He's the first SS4 alumni to get a TV Commercial gig after the search (Jollibee), solo spots at Mel and Joey (Baguio episode) and a mini-series (Magic Kamison). And I believe there are more to come, because he's fast becoming one of the more bankable young stars from GMAAC. Watch out world, here comes Paulo Avelino.

I met up with my baby ex last night. If we'd have a third wind, I never could tell. I'm still hurting and I still could use some space. But deep inside, I have come to realize how much love I still have for him. But I would want us to remain friends. For the moment.

Magic Kamison Synopsis: Episode 2

Okay, I'm making it a point to make Magic Kamison Synopses (although, I skipped making one for the pilot) every Monday to make us KaPaulos reminisce on the story...

Episode 2:
As to where the pilot ended, Episode 2 started with Charlie (Chuck Allie) asking directions from Lumeng (Jewel Mische) as to where his Tito lives (played by German Moreno) who incidentally was Lumeng's employer. This happens while Poy (Paulo Avelino) watches on and sees how smitten Lumeng is on the balikbayan Charlie.

So, in short, Charlie arrives in the house. Making the girls swoon, including Lumeng. And in an effort to catch Charlie's attention, after making an assumption that Charlie like fair-skinned women. She wore the kamison at Chucahy's (Gladys Guevarra) prodding.

Meanwhile, Poy continuous to show tinges of jealousy with Lumeng's constant leanings toward Charlie. A feeling unexplored and unaccounted for, for Poy never really admits to being in love with his beast friend. And Lumeng is at a loss also.

The episode ended with Lumeng enjoying her new found glory. And Chuchay worried with the kamison's claim that she will inherit Lumeng's color every time the latter wears the magical piece of clothing.

Hey Pau,

This is no bull. Frankly, in all my 32 years of my life, I have never devoted any iota of time and space for a singular person that I have yet to meet. I am never a devoted fan of anyone. That is, if you'd equate a "devoted fan" to someone who has devoted everyday for the particular entity. I mean, I have had my shares of favorites, I have been following Dicta License and Sugar Hiccup (then), buying their CDs, watching their gigs, but not to the point that I am dedicating time to create a lot of fan-arts, or patiently anticipating communication, or building a blog, for Christsakes! But I am not pulling your leg, this is, truly, a first for me. But I am not sorry, mind you, or am I apologetic for all the actions that I have done. There is so much joy in what I have done, what I do and what I plan to do.

To wit, I am proud of your accomplishments (so far), I have much faith in what you can do, and I am willing to be a friend in need, a friend indeed, a friend you can trust. More than just a "devoted fan".

And yeah, I really hope we get to meet personally soo. You and the slew of supporters you have.

It seems unfair that I talk a lot about Paulo leaving the readers (well, assuming there ARE readers) at a loss at who I am, So, I'm taking a "Paulo-breather" and tell you a little something about myself, actually ten things...

1. I'm 32 with a teenage heart
2. I fall in and out of love. At unnerving successions.
3. I'm vain
4. I'm unbearable at times. My friends say I'm ANNOYING at times.
5. I have very poor eyesight (my glasses measure at 475, my contacts at 450), am lactose-intolerant and has laryngopharygeal reflux
6. I smoke, and drink occasionally
7. I weigh around 130 lbs. but look lean
8. I'm attached but not exclusively, I can still date (kids, don't try this at home)
9. I NEVER eat eggplants
10. And yes, I LOVE Paulo, but you guys know that already.

As all boils down to the ratings game, I'm happy to tell you that Magic Kamison did well. I'm not particular with whom they were up against (and like, I care) but considering how fresh the cast from Kamison are, it is such an accomplishment to overtake the competition.

All I can say is that it's hilarious.

Paulo is Poy in Magic Kamison and he is so endearing. Matched by a mannerism that's, by all means, disgusting, but I can't help but smile when he does it. So, he puts his finger in his ears and drill them. The best looking Otitis Media patient I have laid eyes upon.

That's Paulo for you. Making us fall with his cute characterizations.

We love you Poy. But cottonbuds won't hurt. ;-)

Much as I have pledged so much devotion to Paulo. One thing came out wrong: My Significant Other grew incredibly jealous of him. You see, Pau's face is splattered all over my mobile and my baby hated it. So, to keep it short, there was a big argument, a big misunderstanding, a big break-up, a bigger explanation and eventually, a reconciliation. We're in good terms now. And as they say, love the one you're with.

Paulo can come in later.

A lot of people seem to be bitten by the bug. The "ILovePauloAvelino Bug". I swear, more people have shown interest in that great-looking bloke. Some of my officemates (whom I have diligently SMSed so they would take time to watch) who have seen him at Magic Kamison, are smitten with the young boy's innate charm. I mean, even a stone-hearted person would quickly turn into a butter left in the sun on a May afternoon whenever Pau would flash that winning smile.

And about that Magic Kamison episode (which priemered last May 13, 2007, which, incidentally was his birthday), a lot of those I know were abuzz at how cute Pau is. Otitis Media aside. LOL.

Without any doubt, Paulo Avelino, will be a shining star to watch out for. ( Thanks cotton for the pics {as they appeared on Paulo's 8th thread})

Funny.

I'm past the calendar age, and yet I have decided to be a matinee idol fan. I know people of my age (or stature, whichever way you may try to see it) should content themselves with novels or highfalutin artfilms or gadgets, but I have taken the teenage route this late in my life. Ya, I'm 32 but my likes seem to lean on the juvenile and trivial. It's not saying that it's bad, because it definitely is not, but highly awkward for my age.

That being out of tha way, I'm proud to say that I support PAULO AVELINO. Sure, he lost in the last Starstruck bout. But heck! He's got the gams to prove his worth and is talented than the winners put together (I told you I'm a fan, so I'm incredibly bias). Proof of which, he's part of the new Magic Kamison story arc (top-billed by SS Winner Jewel Mische), playing a major role way ahead of the other male winners.

And yeah, Pau (as we have affectionately called him) is a stunning looker. 'Nuff said. Just take a look at those pics (up on top) which I have done for him (all are part of the yahoogroups fansite)

So, if you think he may not be worth the adulation, these may help change your mind.

Hey pau, as I've always said, congratulations and we hope to hear and see more of you.
